News just in that retail monster Tesco are planning a move into ticket sales in the UK branches this month in a move that will no doubt have a profound effect on the ticket sales industry there. The question is will the idea travel across the Irish Sea?

Looking after spectators or selling more TV time?

The IRB have facilitated an extra 2 minutes for half time for each of the Rugby World Cup games to "give spectators more time to visit food and drink kiosks as well as toilet facilities". It also enables them to provide more ad breaks for inflating the value of the TV packages being sold around the world.
