DEALERSHIP AWARDS 2020

The Brief: 

2020 saw Cars Ireland take their annual dealership awards virtual in 2020. Each year the awards ceremony celebrates the regional winners and announces the final national winners across a range of categories. Traditionally held in early December in a physical venue with guests attending from all regions to celebrate the evening, 2020 saw the event go virtual for the first time with a live streamed event. 

CSL having worked with Cars Ireland on their previous event was tasked with developing a virtual solution to mark the occasion in 2020. A live stream event hosted on Vimeo was used. The content was a combination of pre-recorded content with live real-time interaction from participants. The MC, guest speakers content was pre-recorded with a green screen studio. One of the highlights of the event was a dealership media prize fund, this was handled in real time with several qualifying questions put to the attendees throughout the event at various stages. The winner was announced live at the end of the awards presentation bringing the event to a close. 

CSL was responsible for full event management and production, from design and branding of event collateral, evites, virtual set design, animated graphics, content development, studio filming and editing, hosting and technical support to awards sourcing, delivery and fulfilment post event.
