The Ireland Funds

We have worked with The Ireland Funds for over 2 decades across their event portfolio. Each year their annual worldwide conference is held in Ireland and is a key event in their calendar year. 

The Brief: Work with The Ireland Funds events team to deliver a 5-day conference, with delegate numbers ranging from 180-360. Each year there are a host of high profile guests such as the then sitting Vice President of the USA, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Prince Albert of Monaco, President Bill Clinton, An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and many more. Our brief is to ensure best in class delegate experiences and deliver seamless events throughout the conference at various locations.

The conference includes several events in different venues from historic locations such as Farmleigh House and St Mary's Cathedral to 5-star hotels. CSL manages all aspects of venue kit-outs, transforming the spaces to meet our guest's requirements. Bringing in screens, stages, AV, and lighting to enhance the space and working with both internal and external caterers for each of the required venues. 

The conference culminates each year with a gala event in the most unique of settings, one such example was Trinity College Dublin with special guest Vice President Joe Biden. We erected a purpose-built marquee set among the backdrop of the main square. This multi-functioning area included a banqueting area complete with staging, full lighting truss, AV, screens, teleprompters, camera, and media point, a temporary kitchen, executive toilets, and a security screening area complete with body scanners and a covered walkway to facilitate security requirements.   

CSL liaised with all suppliers to deliver for the events throughout the conference, from the accommodation, catering and technical suppliers, to An Garda Síochánna, The US Secret Service, and world-class entertainment agents.
