Health & Safety Overview
Health & Safety is a critical element of the event industry. As your agency we ensure that both ourselves and our suppliers adhere to strict health & safety policies. With events, the overall responsibility for the event can often rest with clients who are sometimes unaware, after all it is the client's event. CSL work with clients to clearly define areas of responsibility and to ensure that all Insurance Checks, Risk Assessment, Method Statement, Supplier Management is conducted to the highest industry standards. For events that require safety procedures, event management plans, medical cover, fire cover etc. CSL can work with clients to create and manage these elements.

Health & Safety Policy
It is the goal of CSL Events to have zero accidents. Our aim, with the assistance of this policy is to ensure that we comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, General Application Regulations 2007 and all remaining applicable legislation therefore protecting the safety, health and welfare of our employees, contractors, members of the public and other third parties who may be affected by our operations. Health and safety is everybody’s responsibility and it is the responsibility of everyone at CSL to ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to avoid injury to themselves or to others who may be affected by their actions.
The management team accept that we have overall responsibility for ensuring the safety, health and welfare of our employees as outlined under Section 8 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. Our Safety Statement is a working document and therefore is reviewed on an annual basis or at more regular intervals, should substantial changes to work practices, work equipment or the working environment take place. Control of Contractors
All contractors who undertake work for CSL Events must be competent for the tasks they are expected to undertake. Therefore prior to engaging the services of a contractor each contractor is assessed.
